This is a zip drive, not an external hard drive like most of you are thinking. It was a short lived format, physically comparable to floppy disks, but much faster and supporting much higher data capacities. I believe it was another failed format introduced by Sony, like UMD (PSP). The drive looks like its in great shape and definitely still has its uses to the right person. Honestly, I would love this little gem. I just don't have the credits!!! Great auction. Very unique item.

It's NOT a floppy drive, jeeze! It's a 100MB zip drive. Gah! It has a disk that you insert (magnetic media, like an old 3.5" floppy disk), but it has a 100MB capacity instead of just 1.7MB like the old floppies had. Do you have the power supply (wall bug) that some come with? Do you have the disk or more disks that insert inside the drive?
