Three very unique little boxes. Box is not the right description. Trinket case, stamp holder, jewelry keeper, gift box and then, there's the "pill pocket". I guess they're defined by what they carry. Can you guess which is called the "pill pocket"? It's the last one. Honest, I bought it at an antique fair and that's what the lady called it. It's appropriate.

They're all pretty much the same size, except the double one. The first of the pictures is made of jade, has a removable plastic insert that provides a separation. Sturdy and secure snap closure. Measures 1-3/16" back to front, 1-5/8" side to side and 1/2" deep. Orange and brown marble effect through a greenish jade.

The 2 story one is carved bone rimmed with brass. For something so small, it has some solid weight. If you aren't familiar with carved bone, it has a smell that usually doesn't go away. After I bought it, I came home and tried a few things I found on the internet to help take away the odor. It's still there, but faint compared to when I got it. I just left it open, on my outside patio for two months. You might want to try one of the natural solutions I read about online. Measurements are 1-3/8" tall, 1-1/4" front to back, each opening is about 1/2" deep. Both closures and all hardware secure. Perfect condition. And, no, I don't know what kind of bone or where it's from. No markings except decoration on the brass. Great craftsmanship.

Last is the pill pocket. Exact size as the other jade, this just has a pillow shape on both sides. Gives it a dainty, smooth appearance. You can see it shares the same colors as the first one, but is thinner and has a smoother texture.
