You really dont need the USB cable right as long as you have a memory card in it you can put batteries in it and take picture and then just take the card some where and have the pictures developed right.

to you da315528 yes you are exactly right you dont need the usb if you have a good memory card

No unfortunately neither. Just the camera! The usb cable can purchased on Ebay for about $2 (if u don't have one laying around-pretty common) and a compact flash card for about $6-12 depending on the size.
