The listing, Antique gold cameo gf? Jewelry necklace has ended.

This is an antique cameo in a gold colored setting/chain. I have no idea what metal this is. It is NOT magnetic. I see no markings on this. My guess is that it's gold filled, but it could be low purity gold (8k or 10k, if at all). The cameo itself looks and feels like shell, and looks hand carved. I am not a cameo expert, so please bid accordingly. This isn't "made in China" plastic lead crap that you see online, this is an older piece of jewelry with at least some level of craftsmanship. Has any of the gold color faded or chiped

No chipping or fading. The clasp has slight discoloration, looks like light tarnish.
