The listing, very nice TITANIUM Band with ruby. has ended.
Welcome visitors..This time I have a lovely Titanium band with a small ruby in the top middle. Size 7. Titanium jewelry is usually quite expensive..Free Shipping in US as usual. Please check out my other auctions. Happy bidding!! I'll try to get some better pics up.
A very interesting piece, you don't usually see titanium with a gold tone to it. It was probably infused with the color, which makes it all the more interesting.
Thank you for that info. I really didn't know much about this ring and I'll take all of the help I can get. Sounds like you know your stuff. Appreciate it.
Not quite XD I'm still learning, I'm going to college for gemology. I just know that every time I see titanium, it is "silver" colored. So I figured that it isn't painted gold because the paint would wear and fade and chip away. And if it has gold plating over it, it would wear away over time and use as well.. I have a necklace with a sliver horse pendant that I wore almost every day and when I was nervous, I would rub it. It wore away and showed me that it is copper, they just plated a thin layer of some kind of silver metal over it so they can make it cheaply. So I figured that they must have infused the titanium with gold color for the ring when they were melting it and shaping it. *shrugs* Makes sense if they did, rubies look better with a gold or copper colored metal than with a silver anyway, but that is just my opinion. Like I said, I am still learning, so I might not be right, But it is a strong possibility that they did infuse it.
