The listing, Banknote; Canada; 2 dollar; 1986; Regular Issue; UNC; + BONUS has ended.
Thank you for browsing.
Another round of treasure hunting and another bounty to share. This particular auction is in response to requests for a sole 2-dollar banknote. This is the last series of the 2-dollar banknote to be issued in Canada.
The winner of this auction will receive one (1) 1986 Canada 2-dollar bill in uncirculated (UNC) condition. Signatures are Bonin and Thiessen.
PLEASE NOTE - This banknote is graded as uncirculated (UNC) condition and you will receive the exact banknote shown in the photographs. The grading was done by a third party from whom I purchase regularly - and trust implicitly for their expertise and honesty. Coin easel NOT included. ;-)
BONUS - This banknote will come, as shown in the photos, with a semi-rigid bill holder.

INTERESTING FACT - On February 16, 1996 an era ended in Canada when production of the two dollar bank note ceased; but a new era began only 3 days later, on February 19th, with the introduction of Canada’s newest circulation piece - the two dollar coin; affectionately known to Canadians as the “Toonie”, eh(?).
