There seems to be a "pinkish" color showing in all the pictures of the band. Is that just some kind of reflection?

I can sure relate to the taking pictures part. Sometimes, no matter how you try, you just can't get a good picture. (Or at least, I can't)

Do the dials inside the watch work or are they for decoration like so many are these days? And my husband has a slender wrist and big watches look out of place on him. How big is this one?

I don't know if the dials work or not. It needs a battery. They may be just for decoration. The band measures 8" on thje inside. It may be that some links could be taken out, but I really don't know if they could or not. Thanks for looking.
