I found these absolutely adorable SANTA'S REINDEER PLATES at an estate sale, and although they were quite expensive, I just couldn't resist getting them to share with my Listia friends!
These beautiful plates are 8 inches in diameter. They appear to be brand new (still have stickers on bottoms).
I'm not sure of the age, but there is no Rudolf! :)
I have taken close up pictures of each plate. Please look at all of them! They are so cute!!

I'm not positive, but I think these may have been from Pottery Barn or Crate and Barrel. I know I've seen them somewhere, Great auction.

These are by "Rainbow Mountain". The Pottery Barn ones that you saw are different.

I was thinking they were made before Rudolph was created, but then I did a little research. Rudolph was created by Robert L. May in 1939 for a Montgomery Ward coloring book.
Being that a normal set of dinnerware consists of 8 plates, I'm wondering if Rudolph may have been on a platter or something that didn't get put into this set when it was put up for sale. ???????
