The listing, Loose Gems for Jewelry/Crafts has ended.

A total of 13 gemstones, winning bid gets them all. WITH gem jars. Second pic shows 5 gems, 1 trillion cut and four oval. I think the trillion and one large oval may be sapphire, other large oval and one smaller oval may be Tanzanite, and other small oval I believe to be pale Amethyst. Third pic shows 4 gems, 3 round or princess cut, and one emerald cut. Large(emerald cut) I believe to be Citrine, round blue I think is blue topaz, don't know what the two smallest are, other than orange-ish. Last pic shows 4 gems. One is square cut Amethyst, 2 are Opal, last is oval, dk green. MAY be Peridot, but I think it's too dark to be that. I got these on JTV about 15 years abo, have never used them Hoping these go to someone who can use/appreciate them.

Any idea whether they are natural or lab created?

Honestly I have NO idea. Like I said, I got these on JTV about 15 years ago. They came out of one of their bulk gemstone kits. Used what I could, this is what is left. The Amethyst is a deep purple, the opal do NOT have anything on the back to enhance color. Also, if anyone has any idea what the two little orange ones might be I'd love to know before they're gone.

Thanks, nice to know. I was told the orange ones may be either spinel or Mexican fire opal. I have no idea....

I think your two small orange stones are either orange sapphire or imperial citrine. More probably citrine.
