I got this of Coal from an abandoned Coal Mine in Kentucky. (don't worry we had permission to be there) This auction is for ONE piece of Coal.
If you have some one Naughty on your list or want to give some one good luck , here is your chance to own a piece of coal.
Coal is the official state mineral of Kentucky. and the official state rock of Utah, both U.S. states have a historic link to coal mining.
Some cultures hold that children who misbehave will receive only a lump of coal from Santa Claus for Christmas in their Christmas stockings instead of presents.
It is also customary and considered lucky in Scotland and the North of England to give coal as a gift on New Year's Day. This occurs as part of First-Footing and represents warmth for the year to come.

wonderful listing. My brother used to get a piece of coal every year, but the twist was that Santa would put icing on his huge lump of coal either pink or green and the meaning was that he was bad but not that bad. Loved it. Also did you know you can grow a coal crystal garden. If you would like the directions I can send them to you.

I've used most of my credits on other things before seeing this so I can't bid :( luckily I live in Kentuckyand real coal sshouldn't be hard to find. My 5yo is definitely getting a stocking of coal. Of course Santa will leave a back up for when he decides to behave. Lol
