I've been going on Facebook and telling all my friends about your rings , I figured I'd tell them to check out your rings Cuz your from my home area and nice plus you got good quality stuff. Not like some people on here that don't seem a 100% honest and when I ask them about there stuff I'll wait days with no reply. Oya I'm kinda new to listia have you ever been asked to use the friends and family option on pay-pal to pay for shipping? Seems strange and their out of the country too.weird ain't it?
MJ, if you are purchasing anything from overseas (Canada, etc), it costs an arm and a leg to mail so it is common to request that shipping be paid via paypal. When they ask for you to use the friends option on paypal they are trying to avoid having to pay taxes. As long as you are just purchasing the item for personal use and not business, then you should feel comfortable honoring their request. If you are a reseller, however, I would insist on reporting it as a business expense (ie not friends and family). Hope this info helps and thanks so much for the kind words!
I'm sorry item was not from out of the country, they wrote the name of the town and didn't put USA so I thought it was a town in a small country I never heard of, sorry so what do think and what would you do,about sending it pay-pal friends and family? Thanks for any help you could give me. Mike
Mike, you can feel comfortable using the friends and family payment feature as it will not affect you negatively at all. They are just trying to avoid paying taxes on items sold!
