Description

The listing, *~*~*~5 Golden Raintree Seeds~*~*~* has ended.

Also known as a Chinese Flame tree. For all of you in the mid-south who’ve lost your elms to disease, this is a great replacement. You’ve probably seen them along streets and in parks; they’re chosen for both their beauty and durability. Golden Raintree is amongst the splashiest of spring bloomers with its late butter-yellow flowers, one of the few to show this color. Sporting a neat, rounded crown with upward-reaching branches and a spreading habit, the leaves open as burnished copper and turn to deep green. Golden Raintree will be happiest in loose, well-drained soil (alkaline is OK), and once it’s established, will tolerate drought, heat, wind and air pollution. In the fall, Golden Raintrees display charming 2” golden seed pods that resemble miniature Chinese lanterns. A fast grower, it will produce shade quickly and is ideal as a stand-out focal point for smaller lawns. Zones 5-9.

sure i can do that if people dont mind them being squished flat by the barcode masher thingy. most of the seeds i win, that i get in an envelope, are mashed and unusable, and that comes from experience opening those regular envelopes. when i send out my seeds, i tape them into the top of a card to keep them away from the bottom of the envelope, but these are large, soft seeds still. but if anyone wants me to try it, i can. and as far as the free shipping goes, if you look at my other auctions, you'll see that im offering free shipping on all of the smaller seeds. i am going thru 30 or more stamps a week to send those out for free., so its not that im not trying to do my part of the free shipping. its just i cant afford to do the larger seeds that cost more that way. especially when i only make about 50-75 dollars a month.

i wasnt being sarcastic or anything. i just like to know that when people get my seeds that they are in good condition and are plantworthy. i can honestly say that i have wasted thousands of credits on seeds sent to me that i had to throw away, but for free, i havent complained! lol! i just try to minimize the likelihood of squishing.
