Description

The listing, VERY vintage 18" doll clothes pattern has ended.

This pattern dates back to the late 40's or early 50's. It is one of those patterns purchased through a newspaper (envelope cost 1 cent to send back then!) It is sized for 18" dolls and you can make a lovely cape, beanie hat, dress, jumper, blouse, overalls, and panties.

I collect antique and vintage doll clothes patterns, so I'll tell you a bit about sewing with this type of pattern. Many old patterns had no printed markings on them. Instead, they used a series of holes punched into the pattern pieces to identify them and to show where match up points are. If you've never sewn with this type of pattern, it can be a little strange at first. I personally like these types for their simple nature.

All pattern pieces are present and accounted for....comes with complete instructions.

I don't know if these would fit the modern dolls (such as American Girl). There are no size measurements on this pattern other than doll height.

Shipping to USA addresses only.
