Could you find out? You would get many more bids of people knew if they would be able to use the phone, we are only a year into a 2 year contract so if it is not contract it's useless to me but to another who refuses contract is a big win...

The droid x2 is prepaid plan compatible. Once you use to the MEID number to check if the phone is blocked. Also the droid x2 can be placed on a contract.

The Droid x2 does not require a sim card bc it is not 4g. It can be used on Contract or prepaid for all who are wondering. The gin he has is a heck of a deal. Great phone and nice auction.

You can use the droid X2 on Page Plus Cellular and on Prepaid Verizon, The phone I use everyday Is the Droid X2 and I am on Page Plus . Does not use a Sim Card. It Is a 3g phone.
