Description
The listing, Lot of TWENTY Medieval-1800's Buttons and Artifacts - Found Metal Detecting in Europe has ended.
This auction is for a lot of 20 items I found while metal detecting in Europe. Most are old buttons, but there are a few artifacts that I can't identify as well. All these items probably date from the Medieval era to the 1800s. You get them all for one bid! See photos for condition. Must have verified address. All Listia rules apply. Shipping is FREE in the US, $7 shipping to Canada. Thanks for looking! Check out my other auctions!
Questions & Comments
In before you get asked if they come with a COA... :) Seriously though, do they all come from a particular place in Europe or found throughout many countries there?
LOL! This time I'm gonna say I dug the CoA up with the buttons : ) These were all found in Spain about 20 years ago. During the course of about 3 days, I hit an old battlefield, a couple of historic sites, and some really old homes. I found all of these buttons, etc., plus LOTS of coins during that time. It was an awesome trip! I'll be listing some of the coins in the near future.
My husband has a nice metal detector and we would love to travel with it but don't know if there would be unforeseen airline delays because of it...what a great memory you gave!
I have friends who still go over there from time to time. I doubt that it would be any trouble, but with the luggage limitations they have now, it would probably just cost more. I was there about 2 weeks, and got in as much treasure hunting as I could. It helps to have friends with access. I've always wanted to go back and search some of the Roman encampments in Europe.
LOL, it was great fun. The detector was in a carrying bag and this was over 20 years ago, so it was a lot easier than it would be today. I'd love to go again!
