You can get this on amazon new for as low as $105.79, used as low as $39.31 or refurbished for as low as 129.99. What I have here is brand new never used. It was opended but never hooked up because my mom realized she bought the wrong thing. She should have taken it back but she is terrible with keeping receipts, so....

Right. You have to purchase the disks. The drive was purchased about 2 years ago and the disks are still available to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for asking.

Ok, thanks! .. I looked (the disks) up on Amazon and they seem to be fairly cheap (lowest I found was $3.49 for a 10pk!!) great deal! I've been looking for some extra back up and I may just have to get this .. I recently bought a Toshiba 350 portable hdd that FAILED after just 2 months of use! it seems like we need back up for our back up nowadays, lol!
thanks again.. and sorry for rambling (>_>')

No problem. Your not rambling. Sorry it took so long to answer. I wanted to be sure I gave the right information and then the husband took us up to Mt. Rainier so I didn't have much more time than to just scan the messages. This should work great to back up data. I was given one at the same time I received this and then it got lost in my house. Strange how things do that. :)

Cool auction - I'd bid, but I have three already (I'm a computer geek!) - these are really handy to have - it was like having a portable hard drive before those were popular! Fanned everyone.

I am not a tech person so I am not sure but I can't find anything that says it would work. Sorry. Thanks for the question, though.
