Description
The listing, Antique Sterling Silver Coin Money Clip has ended.
This listing is for an antique sterling silver money clip. My grandfather brought it back after a tour of Europe in WW2. The clip has some sort of coin, surrounded by mother of pearl. I'm not sure what the marking on the back signifies.
Thanks for looking. All Listia rules apply.
Questions & Comments
It looks Aztec from Mexico to me. May I ask if it is marked sterling anywhere please? Thank you.
I'm sorry but this piece isn't that old. It's from the 60's or 70's. I can tell by the stamp. Not an expert in just love and know a little about these MEXICO stamps.
I think this is a little older than 1980. In 1979 the Mexico government took on a new way to mark silver jewelry etc. They started using a letter/number system.
Oh okay sorry I read that comment wrong. I couldn't find any info on this mark but I think I'm correct with the first date range I gave. This is still a great piece.
