airguide, that is the name of the compass/Co. that made this compass. I dont know anything else about this item ecept that it seems to be acurate,I put it next to another compass and they both read/ pointed in same direction. this has a two prong plugin (3rd pic), so I think there is a light in it but i have nothing to test it to see if it lights up and I don't want to burn it out/up if I put to much juice to it..
