Questions & Comments
Huh they are different if you notice the red under the battery cover on one of them you could see that there different, i would suggest posting close ups of the meid to prove it tho, if u do i will have interest in both auctions
My daughter just changed over an Iphone 3 to a prepay. It had been on contract a couple of years ago through at&t. I dont know about the motorola droids though. And as far as free shipping goes I am like you, some shipping is very expensive and if you are just getting minimal credits for your auction then the shipping can get very costly. I do charge shipping on my auctions but I only charge the actual amount or sometimes less than what it actually cost. I too cannot afford to loose money. Good luck on your auctions. F & W. I am still pretty much a newbie myself. Elizabeth
She is correct, I have heard of peeps calling the carrier with phone MEID # and switch it over to their name..THEN, claim it stolen!! I'm NOT saying you would do such, but, for that reson, I NEVER post MEID#'s. If you win an auction for a phone that DOESN'T have clean ESN>>>you are PROTECTED by Listia and can dispute auction, get credits back....I had to do this TWICE!! Once due to non-payment of bill by previous owner. AND, another phone I won was STOLEN!!!! Just FYI>>> Is it prepay or contract dear?/ Watching both!!
Thanks for getting my back on this! This was never a prepaid phone. It was contracted by Verizon though so I am pretty sure that it must always be used as a Verizon phone. These phones were deactivated a few years ago but as I described earlier are in perfect working order. Fanning you now. Thanks again!
It does have a front camera but the phone requires an sd card because it does not have a lot if storage without it. I do not recall how well the camera works on either phone.
@jackiethomas3363 I don't believe I was asking you neither. I asked the seller because the only way Verizon can find out if the phone can be prepaid or not is from the meid/imei # that is why I asked the seller because she has that information. If she doesn't want to give it out, that's completely fine.. But that is why I asked her to call & find out. & I assure you I'm not trying to scam anyone. Just trying to find a good phone. I've been scammed on Listia twice & I'm not trying to be scammed again. Thank you.
I agree. I dont believe the seller should be the one finding out if it can be prepaid or not. Also never post info on electronics that can get them listed as stolen. Avoid all the scams you can. I've seen lots of them on here. Thats why I watch before I bid.
Could you call Verizon for me & ask if it can be prepaid please? I know you said it was a contract phone but most phones can be used as prepaid as well.
Im afraid I really dont have the time but you can call verizon and ask them as a general question if a contract phone can become a prepaid. Frankly I don't think you can.
Hi Dani. So I see where you are coming from, but I still do not feel comfortable puting info on the auction that could be used to steal the phone's info before I even sell it. This is not a scam. If you are not comfortable bidding, then do not bid. I have sold on ebay for years with a 100 percent rating. Look me up. Also, LISTIA protects your purchases from scammers, and I am not one of them. Have a great night, and I hope you continue to watch this auction to see how it goes.
And get verified please, and free shipping would solidify ur legitimacy aswell as increase your auction potential, so ya after you do that then i will be bidding! Fanned u!
Thank you for your advice. I do appreciate it as these are my first auctions here. Im not really sure why I should make auctions have free shipping however. I have to pay to ship whatever I offer and I dont receive any money only credits for my stuff so it seems like this site would be of less value if you lose money on your auctions. Feel free to offer advice on that subject as it confuses me a bit. Again I thank you.
As I commented on the other auction... I am currently the owner of TWO droid x's and TWO Otterboxes. I am selling them concurrently. These are two separate auctions. Have a great day my friends!
