The listing, Vintage Igloo & Penguins Nesting Set has ended.

This is a vintage, older, I believe Russian Nesting set depicting Igloo with penguins. The igloo has a small crack that could probably be filled in with wood putty. I just never did it. The penguins have a little paint missing on top of their heads, and all this is usually because of extreme heat while storing away. However, it is a cute set and they need a new home.

I'm clearing out most of my collectibles and this is a cute set for someone who collects different looking ones. I have even started it at a very low bid.

super cute- does the penguin in front with the red tie just need repainting? These are super cute- I bought my daughter a set of snow white during Christmas last year and paid a good amount for it - awesome listing!!

yes, because they are older and probably were probably stored in a hot place, the paint starts to peel. That is also what probably started the little crack. I found at an estate sale and i thought they were cute anyway. The crack could be filled in with wood filler sanded and repainted. I just didn't want to do.

Most of my nesting sets were in a collection I bought some time ago. I think this one is Russian but don't really know. It is cute however.
