The listing, "New" ***Tiger Eye Budda & Sterling Silver Necklace*** has ended.

This is a necklace with a tiger eye budda that is
1 1/2" X 3/4". The wecklace is 18" long. It has tiger eye and sterling silver beads.

Tiger's Eye is the Planetary stone for Gemini (May 21-Jun. 20) and the accepted gem for the ninth wedding anniversary.
Tiger's eye (tigers eye, tiger eye, tiger iron) is a member of the quartz group of chalcedonies. It is one of the chatoyant gemstones. Chatoyancy exhibits a changeable silky luster as light is reflected within the thin parallel fibrous bands. This effect is due to the fibrous structure of the material.
Tiger's eye is mined in Western Australia, South Africa, USA, Canada, India, Namibia, and Burma.

Folklore, Legend, and Healing Properties:
Many legends about quartz say that wearing tiger's eye (which is a form of quartz) is beneficial for health and spiritual well being. Legend also says it is a psychic protector, great for business, and an aid to achieving clarity.

Thank-you for responding! I will list more buddha if I get more responses that it is the buddha. I have a whole tiger eye set listed, and it doesn't have near the credits as this one. So if you like tiger eye maybe you have a chance at that one.

No, I don't. I bought tons of jewelry stuff to make jewely starting 3 years ago. I had opened a little shop and closed it down. I have all this stuff left. I started out keeping the papers on every piece I got, and there got to be so much that I just wound up throwing it away.

Yes, I made it. I had 3 tote pans full {before I started giving it away on lista} of jewelry I made. Still making a little. I have a lot of beads left. Believe it or not, I'm still ordering beads too. I guess it became a fetish with me.

The reason I asked if this was genuine is because in the close up picture enlarged, it looks like epoxy or plastic of some kind, as compared to the shiny finishes I usually see on tiger eye items. But, I believe you! :>) Sorry your shop had to close, but I'm sure things work out for a good reason. Anyway, love your taste!
