Really great gadget, I have one myself. Turn off the lights and turn this on and and it is awesome. It is powered by 3 AAA or a power adapter (these are not included). I use a power adapter which I found in my huge pile of cords. If you have a lot of cables that you don't use or the gadget they went to broke, search through them. This is brand new in box so it would make a great Christmas gift.
