How do you "release" the coins??? The end where you feed the dimes, or the base near the -0- counter?????
Not 100% sure but if i had to guess based on what i see i think they come out the same end the go in. If you want do some research on the internet on it. i just so happened to run a across it in my house and thought it would be cool to list. i do not know much about them!!
found this on a G search: "...screw on top releases bottom to remove coins" Can you gently try and see if that works. If I find better directions I will let you know.
you are correct except the screw in the top barley measures 3/4 of an inch so my guess is when the bank is nearly full you can screw in the screw and the bottom will push out giving the dimes back. probably one of those ways to make you save your money especially back then. hope this helps and my screw on mine works perfectly!!
