My mom would love this as she is a sewing fanatic lol she's seeing away right at this very moment and is always asking me where she put her measuring tape? It's a cloth one or the kind that can roll up or scrunch up inside your hand not sure exactly what it's made of but it gets mixed up with her pieces of material scraps and almost throws it away a lot. She also loves singer sewing brand supplies and machines so this she would love and by the way I love love love your auctions and can't believe how often I'm bidding on something and realize it's you again so thanks for all the great stuff

thank you so much !!!! it is the type that is of a heavy duty but very pliable material - after you use it to measure something, you press the case and it goes back into the case (wound up) automatically, very slowly and gently, if you have any more questions, I am here - p.s. I love singer stuff too !
