Hello,

To make sure you get the most bids and credits from your listings, please add more information about your item. Details such as make, model number, condition, and any known issues will really help you get more credits. This also reduces the number of questions that your bidders have to ask.

For the best possible results, you should also post a clear, close-up picture of the item in your possession instead of using a stock photo (a commercial photo taken by the manufacturer). We recommend photos of your item powered on, powered off, and of the back and sides. All of the pictures should be taken on the same background. We also highly recommended writing your Listia username on a piece of paper showing it next to your item. Doing so will help bidders know that you really have the item in your possession.

All of this will prevent your listing from getting flagged. The last thing we want is for your listing to get deleted!

Thanks for your cooperation and hope you hit the jackpot with this listing!

Did I call you a scammer? You say I don't know you but I can probably make a decent guess. You're a Hispanic, specifically Mexican. You're either a first or second generation immigrant from Mexico. I have a feeling that you are 13 years old based on how you've responded to others on here and you probably get in trouble at school if that is the case. Your real name is likely Ivan Salcedo. Is that accurate? If not there are obvious discrepancies between your twitter account that you got verified for Listia and your real self. If so, you can understand why I would find it interesting that you're selling a tv for your first auction.

Why did you post a tv for your first auction without being a verified seller? I've seen a lot of scammers post televisions.

Welcome to listia,
Here's some advice:
--When posting auctions post more than One photo, since your new write your username and the date on a piece of paper and include it in the photo.
--Free shipping- means YOU pay for the shipping. This is going to cost you ALOT of money to ship, no matter which way you ship it, and you should include insurance incase the item gets damaged.
--if you are Rude or mean to your potential bidders, they will only flag you, and you will not only lose credits, but Listia support will get noticed and you'll get banned from the site.
--new members should ALWAYS get verified. I'm NOT saying this is a "scam" or a "fake" auction, but many scammers are new members who are Not verified, and they always list high priced items. Being a "scammer" or "fake" on Listia is very much pointless. Because the seller (you) won't get your winning credits until the winner receives the item in the mail and verifys thru Listia that the item Is what it was described as.
--to be on Listia you MUST be 18 years old. When you download the app. Or log on the website, Listia records your IP address. (The IP address shows Listia who you are/where you live. Down to the exact house.) if you try to scam/ rip Listia or its member off, or break the rules of Listia, you can & will get in trouble.
--to get MORE bids- get verified. It's simple and easy and takes seconds. You must do so on the website though. Being verified shows your bidders that you're serious about Listia....

And just so I can throw my 2 cents in, I seriously think you are over reacting. I read through all the comments. And No one was rude to you (at first). The only time someone got rude with you- was when they were defending themselves because of a rude comment you left them.
The one who Just commented- about you being "Mexican" yes that was rude. And out of line, I agree. Kinda even racist. And that was very Wrong of him. However, if you read back-- to his first comment, he never called you a scammer. He asked you why you listed a TV (a large priced item) as your 1st auction. Which is a completely understandable question. As he said , on Listia- many scammers are new members who list high pair items. He didn't say you were a scammer. Neither am I. He said that typically, in general- new members with high paid items- always end up being fake. You could have just thanked him for his concern, and reassured him-politely- that this auction is legit. Than this while argument between you two wouldn't have happened. Lol

And-- as for you calling the police bc he's stalking your son? That's silly. Twitter Is a public domain. And so is Listia. You linked your -or ur sons- twitter account to Listia, as I said before- getting verified is to show your bidders you are real. There will be many listians checking your twitter, Facebook, accounts. If you don't like that, than unlink it.

Ok basically you guys are like cyber bullying me going at me for a listing ok that's so stupid I'll delete this auction just to shut you guys up its so annoying
Nov 25th, 2014 at 11:56:05 AM PST by
Original
No I was not bullying you. Lol. I was giving you advice! Just like I would with Any other new member!
Calm down, why are you getting so defensive towards everyone? I apologize if you are a angry person, or if you've had a bad week, I was Only trying to help you! - I understand why you are mad at the one who became very racist, I agree that was totally out of Line! I would have blocked him instantly.
However, I don't think I said anything ride or offensive? If I did, I am sorry.
If I see a new member- like yourself- getting hounded with a bunch of comments, I always help them by giving them some Listia advice. I was in no way trying to anger you, or anything like that!

Again, sorry if your not enjoying Listia. It's actually a GREAt site! Maybe if you list some smaller items, that are more "realistic" than you will feel more comfortable. Like I said, being your first auction is such a big item- puts many bidders in caution mode. I know members who have been here selling for years and they wouldn't list a 60" TV for free shipping. The cost to ship it- it's better to just go buy the credits with that money. Lol.
And no matter If your listing a 60" TV or a pack of stickers-- you will ALWAYS GET comments. So, relax- just enjoy it. :)
All the comments means all these people are interested in your item!
** you can not "delete" the auction. Like I said, once you list something and the first bid is placed, you can't delete it and you must send the item to the winner.
