Wow is right! This are so incredibly detailed you won't believe it.

Beautiful & very old transfers of some very sweet fine furried & feathered friends!!

Note the ruler in the 1st photo.they are very nicely sized and you get the whole kitandkaboodle that you see!!!

I have other transfers listed right now..all European and very beautiful.

hmmm... I did buy some that said to do that and they totally fell apart when wet.. But I would like to try again. These look so beautiful! Thank you for your replies. They take a minute to show up! LOL

I forgot to put that in this listing!! It's simple-you put a damp warm sponge on top and wait a bit OR you place the transfer in a shallow dish with warm water and it will separate from the paper...really easy. The hardest part is making sure you don't crinkle it all up when it's off the paper. I have always used the shallow dish approach and then use hemos or tweezers to lift the entire transfer out of the water and then slid it off manually onto my project with damp fingers (dry fingers stick to the transfer and wrinkles it easily). Sounds MUCH harder than it is. I think I may have ruined only 2 or 3 over the years and I have used A LOT, I mean A LOT of them.

I wonder why they fell apart? Perhaps they were already cracked and brittle? Well, we can honestly say these are 'tried and tested'!!
I know the replies take a minute or two usually, but my long one to you took a day-and that was only after I posted my why question? Weirdness! Oh well!!

WOW! They bring some nice memories! When I was a little girl we used to have so much fun with these! My brother used to do it for us and we transferred the pictures everywhere. I wonder what kind are these - permanent or temporary. How long do they last?
