the game from the pawn shop might not of been actually used if it was open...go look at playstation.blog if you dont believe it

guys I just got a used copy from the pawn shop and yes I can play it just had to get a sub from the ps store! I paid 10 bucks for this game!

pretty sure that this game cannot be resold..thats why gamestop will not take it on a buyback...each copy of the game comes with a unique code that can only be activated on one system..after that it can only be used on that system and you cannot buy a subscription to make it work...sorry but thought you should know if you didnt already

You 100% cannot buy the game used at the moment. There may be a way in the future to buy an account key on its own, but I would be surprised.

This is an MMO, not a typical console game. That means that the game comes with a unique key that is applied to a game account. That key is non-transferable, and the only way you could access a used copy of the game would be if the seller provided you with their account info.

And then you run the risk of having him claim you stole the account, or having an issue down the road where your personal info doesn't match the original account-holder's info.
You cannot and should not ever buy an MMO used.
