it came with two but my cat stole one and yes you can buy them from the site, very cheap, and its to protect the machine from leaks i think,

I LOVE mine! I use it from mixing scrambled eggs, pancake mix.. and my fav smoothies! I had gastric by pass surgery done and although I had bought mine long ago and used it frequently-- I REALLY use it to the max now! And If go spend the weekend with my daughter- it's small enough to pack in my bag! And It ALWAYS goes in the camper too! :-)
