Ok lol thank you. I know 12k actually does exist but I think it's mostly used for dental reason more so than jewelry. But sometimes it's scraped and melted down and made in to jewelry :) so it isn't unheard of. Or sometimes it's melted down and used for gold filling in jewelry too... 12k is a softer more pliable grade of gold so it has a lot of different purposes. Thank you for your reply :)
Wow...I think I learned something as I thought the higher the number the softer and purer the gold with 24 K the purest form whereupon 12 K is not allowed to be sold under gold regulations since normally ii is 50% gold and 50 percent of another metal automatically making it gold filled. But this is a great auction you have of a 14 k bracelet!!
