The listing, Perennial fragrant Blue flowers, drought tolerant, deer resistant, Shoal Creek Chaste tree seeds has ended.
This auction is for ten seeds from my Shoal Creek Chaste tree (Texas Lilac). This perennial has gorgeous spires of fragrant blue blossoms, and attracts butterflies and bees. It blooms on new growth and will repeat bloom for months, especially if dead-headed. It can be shaped into a small tree in the South and thrives in heat, but also does well where it gets frozen to the ground. It tolerates drought, does well in zones 5-10, and deer won't eat it (at least that's what the info I found says)! The photos used are courtesy of Texas A&M. I just recently bought my plant, from a nursery and even though it was only about 3' tall it had bloom spires on it up to 10" long!
