Vegetable silk is more glossy than the embroidery floss .. it is made from eco friendly materials .. such some vegetables, leaves, fruit trees , .. I got it from Egypt and can not find it here but may be because i live in a little city not like NY :)
I have cotton thread also but not glossy like those, you can see the cotton in my earrings auctions .. yellow, orange, red, black, ...
