Yes, this coin is silver but believe it or not Silver is not where the value in this coins lies. With 13 people watching I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised with the final outcome. I have bid but I don't feel that it will be enough. A great resource for foreign coin identification is worldcoingallery.com. It started as a private hobby of a man in Athens, GA and I have seen it grow to what it is today and that is a primere resource for coin identification and valuation. It has links to the NGC that provide up to date coin values. Save the link and try it the next time you find a non American Coin. Remember there is no WWW at the beginning.
