The listing, VINTAGE ARGUS MODEL 810 SUPER EIGHT MOVIE CAMERA & CASE has ended.

This is a Vintage Argus Model 810 super eight movie camera and case. The camera is in good physical condition with some signs of wear. It takes 4 AA bateries (NOT INCLUDED) It comes with a black Argus carrying case. The case shows signs of wear and damage. I don't know if the camera works or not because I haven't tried it.

The price of shipping is going to cost a little more but I'll put that in.For those of you who don't really know how small a flat rate box is.... the only part of this that will fit in a small flat rate box is the HANDLE.

I want to commend you on your honesty lissa, and you are absolutely right about jahkeal, they should have bid until they got an answer to their question if they didn't want to take the chance on it. This would be great for a collector, you were right about that too, but I am going to bid on it just so you won't have to deal with refunding jahkeals credits. I am not a collector of this kn id of thing but if I win it, I win it, maybe I will relist it, or maybe I'll sell it to a collector. how rude of you to make it look like I would just GIVE AWAY something I KNEW didn't work, I get things in a boxed lot from thift stores and yard sales I shouldn't be blamed as someone who gives away something that I KNOW doesn't work. I think if that were my intention I WOULDN'T have bothered to put batteries in it, I would've just left the post as it is and or just Not answered your question. I'M A VERY HONEST person, proof being I've had SEVERALpeople to send me CASH as much as 40 bucks from one person for items, IF I were dishonest I could easily I never recieved it. DON'T WORRY you can have your credits back. AND THANKS as I stated Before for Asking. I think maybe I'll the recharable batteries from one of my digital cameras to see if that works or not, if it does..ok if not, maybe someone who collects will still get it Eventually. WOW listians need to come together and rid of all these scammers and rude ppl, i've had to request refunds becasue i never received the item, 1 other note don't leave feedback until you receive your item, i've been jacked by trusted sellers twice, luckily i got my credits back but was upset i didn't get what i wanted.....be safe and have fun.... fanned and credited everyone

Good to know but I've NEVER scammed anyone, my feedback proves it. And I always try to come to an agreement with anyone who has a problem IF they talk to me about it first Before asking for credits back like a recent buyer who was new, of course after she explained Why she did what she did I of course gave back her credits with NO PROBLEM.

I have a bunch of "mini, cassette-like" 8mm tapes that went into my camcorder. My camcorder died and I have no way to replay the tapes. Does this camera take those same 8mm tapes and does it only record or can it play them back?

I HONESTLY don't know, this was Not my camera it was in a box of things I got a the thrift store. Sorry. Maybe if you goole it you may find out if it will except them or not. I hope so but as I stated in one of the comments I tried some batteries in it and it didn't do anything, I don't know IF it's because the batteries weren't strong enough OR it just doesn't work. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

I tried it but it didn't come on and I think it's probably because I need stronger batteries like recharable camera batteries not the regular ones, I can't afford those but I did try them.
