The box has been opened & yoda was out then photos were taken while out. Packaging is in perfect shape. The little screw that secures standing for yoda is missing but the tiebacks continue to secure his standing position. No damage to inner packaging or outer packaging.

Is there any clear plastic that separates the inside space / diorama from the exterior edges of the box?

Yes. The box is in perfect condition. Items are enclosed completely. Been in storage. Owned by an adult. Not played with.
