Lapis Lazuli is one of the most sought after stones in use since man's history began. Its deep, celestial blue remains the symbol of royalty and honor, gods and power, spirit and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth.
It is a powerful crystal for activating the higher mind and enhancing intellectual ability. It stimulates the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding, and aids the process of learning. It is excellent for enhancing memory.A stone of truth, Lapis encourages honesty of the spirit, and in the spoken and written word.
Lapis Lazuli is a crystal of truth in all aspects. It reveals inner truth, and promotes self-awareness and the acceptance of that knowledge. It provides for the relief of things that may have been suppressed and allows for them to surface, helping to diminish dis-ease or repressed anger, and allows for self-expression without holding back or compromising.
It provides an awareness of one's motivations and beliefs, and gives a clearer perspective of one's whole life. It reveals not only one's limitations, but the opportunities for growth and to utilize one's gifts and abilities.

You are generous with the pictures, which is great, but isn't lapis lazuli blue and gold colored...?

Lapis Lazuli CAN have flecks of Iron Pyrite in it which what you calling the "gold colored" that can be seen in Lapis Lazuli. The Less Gold flecks the HIGHER THE VALUE of the stone in the annuls of history and even today. So YES it can have it in there but it doesn't have to be. You don't have to take my word for it. Google Lapis Lazuli and you will see GORGEOUS examples with literally not a single fleck in it. I am offering you an EXTREMELY pure piece and a VERY EXPENSIVE piece of Lapis Lazuli. I am so GLAD you asked that question so I could brag about what an awesome piece this really is. LIstia only gives up 2000 characters for the description so it always "Rocks" my wold to have Fab people like you who give me the chance to further talk about a beautiful stone. I thank you thank you thank you for being a super special person to be so good to give me that chance. So the short answer is yes it can and No it doesn't have to. There are actually pieces in this one but the are embedded fairly deeply. You "Rock" my world! Have a Wonderful Wednesday! ~Namaste

But it's still blue, even without the gold. Your piece looks black.

First let me say that on every screen everyone will see a different color so I don't know what you have your color settings at on your computer and/or phone. Second, the Egyptians, first to highly value Lapis called the stone the "Night Sky" because of its Dark Blue. So it is a DARK BLUE. I am so sorry you don't like this piece and I appreciate that you have looked at it this much. I don't know anything about Pokemon cards so I would never pretend to know more than a person who knows enough to list them such as yourself. So why if you don't like my piece do you keep coming into my space here on Listia and telling me that you don't agree with what I have said about a stone. If you would like my credentials and degree accreditation please feel free to send me a private message and I will be happy to provide you with them and how you can verify them. This is blue and I am sorry you don't see the beauty of the stone because she is gorgeous and most assuredly a Beautiful RICH dark blue. I wish you the very best here on Listia and please always remember no one on here GIVES things away to harm anyone. I personally do it out of Love and the true belief in the metaphysical properties in the stone. I am so sorry if you have felt offended by my listing. I still wish you Love and Light in your Holiday Season and all year long. ~Namaste

It's not that I don't like it, I do. And I don't know squat about Pokemon cards, it's just something I collected when I was a kid. What I do know about is stones and I am going into gemology. All I was saying is that it looked black. I have seen many, many pieces of lapis and lapis lazuli and they were all a navy blue or royal blue, none that I have seen looked this dark. I was just confused, no need to snap. I do not understand technology at all, my dad handles the details of the software on my computer, I have no idea what anything is set to an I am not going to try and figure it out. I googled images of lapis lazuli BEFORE my first comment just to make sure and not one of the pictures that came up showed a deep, night blue stone. Only navy-ish blue and royal blue. I never said anything about not agreeing with you, all I said was that it looks black and I could have sworn lapis was blue. As I said, I am beginning studies in gemology, so I know what I'm talking about, too. All I know about your piece is that it looks obsidian black to me and any other piece I have seen of lapis or lapis lazuli has been a royal or navy blue.

I will leave it at this. I am sorry that you don't agree but I KNOW with absolute certain knowledge that this is Lapis Lazuli. You have the right to make your own decisions but you don't have the right to treat me or my fans, bidders, watchers, and Listia friends and family with such disrespect and rude behavior. I am sorry that in order to feel superior you must behave badly to a stranger because I wish you all the Light, Love, and Healing that your soul needs to be sent in your direction. I will pray for your healing and send as much positive energy I can to you. At the end of every keyboard is a real live PERSON who is like you. We hurt, We laugh, we feel joy and pain and I believe you would not behave this way if you were face to face with a person.
Lapis Lazuli is the stone that this point is made of. I made it and was at the mine I bought the original piece from to make it out of. I think I know my stuff better than you my dear and I ask you nicely only this to please stop just hurling accusations without any proof, logic, or RIGHT to so. No one forced you to stop by and no one is forcing you to stay. Should you ever need someone to talk to about anything my Inbox is always open to you as well as my heart and my time but as to this auction there is no further dispute. It is Lapis Lazuli and any further discussion of it will be between me and bidders, watchers, or the winner. Have a Beautiful evening and May God Bless you and heal you in his loving arms.

I wasn't being rude. You cannot tell the tone behind typed words. But I even said IN MY MESSAGE that I was confused. I have High Functioning Autism. I was not behaving rudely to my knowledge and if you felt I was, sorry. I was not trying to be superior and I was not behaving badly. I was behaving the way my genes and my mind tell me to and for that I will not apologize because it is part of the curse of who I am. As I said, I am BEGINNING in gemology, meaning I am new to the field. I was going off of my own personal experience and so far I have never seen a Lapis stone so dark. I was confused and questioning you, that is what I do when I thought something was one way and I find out that it can be something else as well. I needle and I question until I am sure the person knows what they are talking about and they are right. But sometimes, people are so adamant that they are right when they are dead wrong. Someone once tried to tell me that a kilometer is longer than a mile. It's not. And they tried to forcefully tell me. I looked it up and showed them and they said that I rigged it just so I can be right. How do you think that makes me feel? Anyone that I know who has HFA does the same thing when they are confused, we are confused and trying to learn. I have not hurled any accusations. Not once did I call you a liar or say that you were wrong. You, however, have hurled accusations. You accused me of being superior, being rude, behaving badly, and of accusing you. And I am very upset from your words. Again, I was just confused.

Honestly I knew it had to be something b/c I would have talked to you in private about the autism. I have worked with several severely Autistic Children doing energy healing and I do understand that you process information differently than I do. I know that you will have social challenges your entire life unless you do what you are doing and make yourself talk to people outside your comfort zone. Had I known that you had autism I may have been able to understand why you didn't seem to be processing the information and been able to try and look at it side out. You are saying everything as if your an authority while at the same time admitting that you are just staring out. The first part is the Autistic part of yourself that doesn't read inflection or anything except exactly what you mean. In my first comment back to you I actually thank you but that would be another societal thing you didn't understand. When I say thank you I am not insulting you I am literally saying that you did me a favor. Your are right tone can't be understood in writing. High Functioning autism can be an interesting thing but do your best to explain how much you see from your point of view. You get frustrated. But you also have the ability to see things straight forward as they are. With out the emotional complications. You get frustrated when you can't make someone understand. So now that I know hopefully I will be able to better communicate with you. You are special. You see the world in way I can't and that is something to build on. Some of our greatest inventors have High Functioning Autism because they can focus with a singular focus that most of us can't. Thank you for explaining to me.

And no, I am not just saying I have autism to make you feel bad. I hate telling people that I have it because then I become a pariah, but sometimes I have to. I have met people offended by everything I do even though I tried to the point of literal tears not to offend them and am completely clueless on what I did wrong. I am sorry if I somehow offended you, but you know what? It is just me. I can't do any better. I could do worse, but I try not to because I realized at an early age that for some reason, there are people who treat me as if my very existence is foul and offensive. I am done. If you respond, I will probably read it, but I will not reply.

I don't feel sorry for you. You have autism, I have Cancer, and God gives us all things we have to learn to over come. I can now understand a bit better. Like I said earlier you see things in a different way and I won't understand it all but I can try. I accept your apology and again thank you for explaining to me why you weren't understanding and I wasn't understanding what you were saying. Hopefully I can try to understand better in the future. ~Namaste
