This Crocheted Chicken is made of 4-ply yarn, with glued on moveable eyes. Normally a plastic egg is placed inside the chicken to hold money or candy or whatever little surprise you may want to hide.

But this chicken is different. A fellow Listian gave me the idea of the chicken being a pincushion. So I stuffed the chicken with polyfill and if you look closely, you will see safety pins sticking in the side of the chicken and Vo-La, a Chicken Pincushion! Works Beautiful -- I love it! And I hope you will too. (Pins not included)

Very practical for the lady who sews -- give it as a gift for the person who has everything, or collects chickens, or hey -- keep it for yourself :0)

Could be great for Easter Egg hunting or for Easter Baskets, too. Also great for table decoration or for a Chicken Collector.

Just a quick note -- my home is not smoke/pet free, but I do not smoke and my husband and pets do not crochet - we all get along really well that way :0)
