It's really sheer and highly glossy....and not too shimmery. Just right for summer on any skin tone, really. It just looks dark/metallic due to the pictures and/or your monitor settings. This stuff is the bomb! =)

I feel the same way. I can't do metallics well at all in lipsticks but I can in glosses if it's in the right amount. This is definitely a neutral nude. When I got them, I bought all they had in this color because I was obsessed with the shine and the flavor, until the NEXT gloss obsession came around, and so on, lol. I am still keeping 3 for myself. I'm a greedy gloss addict!
