The listing, Fragrant Blue Repeat-blooming Perennial Drought Tolerant Deer Resistant Zones 5-10 SEEDS has ended.
This auction is for ten seeds from a Shoal Creek Chaste tree (Texas Lilac). This perennial has gorgeous spires of fragrant blue blossoms. It blooms on new growth and will repeat bloom for months. It can be shaped into a small tree in the South and thrives in heat, but also does well, and makes a gorgeous blooming bush, where it gets frozen to the ground. It tolerates drought, does well in zones 5-10, and attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, but deer won't eat it (at least that's what the info I found says)! The photos of blooming plants are courtesy of Texas A&M, with their permission, but the other photos here are of my plant. It's only about 3' tall, including the pot, but had huge bloom spires (up to 10") on it, when I got it.
