I live smack dab in the middle of various Navajo Indian Reservations and although it is a pretty "Cowboys and Indians" type of wall hanging, it is definitely not a traditional Dream Catcher. The idea of a Dream Catcher is to catch an infant or a small childs nightmares in the "net" or "web" center of the hoop. It is then decorated with personal and/or sacred feathers and beads. Traditionally the hoop is made of willow tree branches or sticks, to make them stronger the twig or branch is usually wrapped in leather. Your wall decoration is very pretty, but it isn't an actual Dream Catcher.
