Each Oland Botanical blend is a unique recipe. No synthetic oils, ingredients or diluents are used.

Oland Botanicals recommends smoldering incense to prevent burning and thus improving the scent of the incense. This is accomplished by using a Mica plate or ceramic tile. Therefore, a ceramic tile is included free with your first purchase as some materials used in this line of incense give an offensive odor when burned directly on charcoal.

Oland Botanicals recommends use of charcoal that does not contain saltpeter such as bamboo charcoal. Most self-lighting charcoal contains saltpeter. Modern saltpeter contains potassium nitrate. Potassium nitrate while burning gives of toxic fumes that are inhaled as well as altering the aroma of the incense.

To provide the best ingredients at the lowest cost your incense is in a plastic bag. It is recommended that the incense be transferred into a glass container if you are not going to use your incense soon. This prevents leaching of plastic into the incense. It also prevents leaching away of the incense aromatics.

There is no charge or intent added to this incense. A charge may be added for no additional cost if you desire (within ethical boundaries), just request in added notes.


Packages contain either:
8 Pellets which is approx. 1.5-2 hours burning time
or 1 Oz (by volume) 5+ hrs using a ceramic tile.
