Thanks, Rockyanne is 19 months old, only weighs 5lbs, her mama kitty had bad milk, had to bottle feed her every 3hours for 4months. She went everywhere with me, she was so small that she lived in between my breasts in my bra. She still cuddles up on my chest.
Your welcome, all of my cats are rescued cats. Rockyanne's mama was living in an apartment complex I used to live at, the owner only fed her what was going bad in his refrigerator. My husband fed all the strays and she started coming up to eat as well. Took us 2months to gain her trust. Brought her inside just in time, she gave birth 12 hours later, during a late spring rain. It saved her kittens lives. And she is a sweet addition to our family.
That's great. The best pets I believe are the ones that are rescued. Cats are so unique and I love there attitude. So many people just"dump" cats and kittens anywhere. They are God's creatures too. They deserve a good home and love. The love from a cat seems so honest and pure. I'm glad you made the addition to your family. Good luck bidding, if you don't win....let me see what I can do cuz you are a regular customer of mine. No fear
I'm working on 3 right now and 2 beanies, I'm on a deadline. We will work it out. Hopefully I can get "daddy's little princess" blanket done in time for Christmas.
I am going to share a remarkable story about a cat I captured as a kitten. He was about 6 weeks old and wild. I threw my coat over him and carried him home. I was about 9 years old. Smoky lived outside with our deer hounds. He ate and slept with them. He grew up and was a grand cat. Chased dogs out of our yard. Anyway, one of our Beagles was pregnant. When we had left over pancakes my mother would stick them all cut up on top of the window air conditioner. Smoky some how knew Monkey was pregnant and picked up the pancake pieces and dropped them down to her. What an amazing cat.
Bidding on your baby afghan. Your others I won, were so well done. I ended up providing half of the items for the nursing home. The women carried them yesterday. I thought I would continue for 3 more weeks. If I can make and win enough, I will get them to carry them. So many did not get anything. I was sad and wanted to do more. So I am going to see how far I can get on my own.
