i have 2 xbox 360 console that comes with all the hookups and wires and 1 standered controller, and 1 turbo fire 2 controller, they both work and are playable, but one of them the one one in the first picture doesnt read disk, it needs to be cleaned. free shipping, will ship by ups on this one.

you simply need to take better pictures, be more specific about the items, then you wont get asked such questions as above, you clearly have three xbox's in this photo along with a wii. you should at least have a picture of it on so we all know that it works.

its an internal error most likley. drive may need to be compleatly replaced.
happens alot with the older 360s.

this one has got to the point where it wont read a disk at all, i thought that it might need cleaning if someone knew how to open them up and do it but then someone else said it could be something else, so i am not sure.

i hav 1, it has tha same problem. like i said above the drive will probley hav to be replaced. if you take the drive apart be carefull not to damage the rectangular board insid tha drive, its paired with the mother board. its needed to replace the drive. microsoft uses three types of dvd drives in there 360's. the design of the cd tray is unique to each of the 3 types of drives.each drive is made by a separate company. soldering is required to to replace the drive.

there are also two smal nodes located on the laser assembley of the drive within a single xbox 360 that are used to control laser intencity. one node controls standard cds, music, homemade. the other controls dvd type discs, 360 games, movies. the dvd node can be ajusted, so that games, moves will work again, if thats what was wrong to begin with. but set it wrong and u could burn out your laser altogether.

the first and second paragraphs cover two seperete issues.

to replace the drive you will need a new one. requires much disassembley. how to guide is online.

as far as adjusting the node u will need a micro electro screw driver and an electric multi meter. diagram are online aswell.

no it is not, the one works great and the other one does not want to read the disk for some reason, i tryed to sell them at my yardsale and no body wanted them, thought that they was a waste of money because one of them needs work so my daughter told me to try this site before i gave them to goodwill.
