this is a mod chip for the playstation 2.. this item will be aucitoned as is.. i have no clue how to install it and i don't have any paperwork on it.. i received this item from my uncle as it is.. if you win this item but are not sure on how it is installed please dont come whining back to me. maybe somebody out there will know what to do with this so good luck bidding!!

A mod chip is a great modification that one can do to their Sony PlayStation 2. Once a mod chip is installed (depending on the mod chip) your Sony PlayStation 2 becomes so much better and can do so much more. For example, the mod chips I install allow people to use their Sony PlayStation 2's to play MP3's, DIVX Movies, ROMS, backup games and DVD's.

They are pretty hard to install. Normally when you order a mod chip it will come with instructions. You have to solder many wires to your Sony PlayStation 2 and it can be a pain.
