The listing, VINTAGE 1930s CAULKINS Real Photo POSTCARD Harrison State Park PA GRAND CANYON has ended.
Up for auction is a Caulkins real photo postcard in really nice condition!
It was taken while it was snowing in Harrison State Park, Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon. The name of the park is printed in white, and you can see it on the card, but not so much on the scan. Stamp box dates the card between 1925 and 1942. I believe this was taken in the late 1930s.
Nelson Caulkins was born in 1874, and began his photography career in the early 1900s. He had studios in Slate Run, Cammal, Waterville and Morris (all in north / north-central PA) during his distinguished career. His photo postcards are very collectible!
Both sides are shown. Smoke-free home.
