Nice, nice lot and a lotta beads. Next time you list beads, check out the new "beading" category under Arts & Crafts. I think it will help people more easily find beads to bid on!

They never had them, but I put in a request last week and voila! Four new categories for craft supplies! I was so psyched ... Listia seems to be responding really fast to oddball suggestions like that lately.

Do you like my new photo? It's my sweet daughter ... she finally chose a college this week and I am relieved and celebrating. She's living in Germany but she'd probably kill me if she knew I was using her photo. I'll switch to a photo of my other daughter next week ... a raven-haired beauty, believe it or not!

She is pretty :) Good for her for going to college, and living in Germany? How exciting! I'll be done with college (unless I decide to continue in the future) after this semester, but my degrees come only from a community college...oh well, though! Something is better than nothing, I suppose! Again, congrats to her, and you, for having wonderful daughters :) I am due with my first daughter (first baby) this July!

Ludvic, congrats to you for STAYING in college! Many, many people go to community colleges. It is the most practical financial decision for most people, and certainly an important stepping stone in any career. One of my nieces went to community college, both my father and his sister did that, and all went on to fabulous careers. It's ALWAYS better to get educated, stay educated, and keep on learning your whole life.

Most community colleges are two years, and then you can go on to get a four-year degree at a state college. Is that what you plan to do? We lived in Virginia for 23 years, just outside Washington DC., a very highly educated population there. LOTS of those kids go to the local community college and then finish at a Virginia state school ... it's a GREAT deal and something to be very proud of!
