The listing, Tuxedo Cats - 5 x 7" art card by Nina Struthers has ended.

Hi fellow Listians! HAPPY HOLIDAYS !! (these are my 2 cats, Gato and Neko!)

Here is a 7 day auction for a 5 x 7" art card (envelope included). It can either be used as a card or framed. This is a print (not an original)

My name is Nina Struthers and I am a Texas artist/teacher with a degree in Fine Arts.

I work with pen and ink and water color my pieces with watercolor pencils. I draw with tiny dots and slashes of ink and enjoy working in fine detail. I have been drawing for over 30 years and have a large body of work.

If you would like this drawing as a larger approx. 8 x 10" print I can post an auction for a GIN of 3500. Just let me know!

Feel free to look at my other auctions here on Listia!

Don't blame you. When my baby sis(I have 6), lived in Texas..her hubby was in the military and they lived in a trailer. She said that every morning she had to sweep scorpions out of her trailer and that trying to get rid of the cockroaches was a never ending battle. She said they had lots of crispy critters down there! Also not for the faint-hearted! Lol.

I've been here since 98, may as well stay.... I like my small town and I live right by a big river (more critters and varmints LOL) but its very pretty and I like to kayak. I lived in Canada for 11 years am no stranger to the cold! I have one daughter, now 28, she lives in New Orleans and is a resident doctor. I am lucky!

Thank-you. Im 57, born in 57. I guess that is young for a grandma but I had my two kids when I was very young...yes, I am a tamed down rebel, also...although, the things I did as a teenager are quite mild compared to the temptations of today. Every once in awhile, I meet a listian who is quite easy to talk to, like yourself. I am so darn busy that I don't take the time like I should. But, I am taking a break until January..going to spend time with the family and work in the house. Stop and "smell the roses" and spend some of these credits!!!!! I never have time to shop for myself.

I was in Fairbanks this past summer. my older brother finally got married..... but the summer before I was there too, and the brothers took me kayaking. so that's how my love for kayaking started. its such an expensive plane ticket I don't know when
I will go back, maybe 2016... we are getting older! I am 56!! Oregon looks beautiful from the air....big mountain peaks above the clouds :)

Omg, Nina..I have a tuxedo cat too! Her name is Lucky. She just showed up one day..about 5 years ago..and never left. She is a porch cat..never wants to go inside and only eats dry cat food. She hunts for fun and I haven't had any mice around here for years. She is great around the Grandkids too. Never puts her big old claws out and is very gentle and affectionate with people. I never much liked cats until Lucky came around. She is so big and fluffy as she has her winter coat on now.

22 chickens? Omg that reminds me of my chicken story. My husband always lived on farms and always had chickens. When he decided to move to town and become a city boy, he sold his livestock, including several chickens. It took him a good couple of days to round them all up and put them in cages but, he had a few chickens who were determined to stay. They flew up into the highest pine tree on the place..and I'm talking ver high. We could not figure out how to get them to come down..they would not budge! So, my husband and son-in-law got the water hose out..they started spraying chickens. You never heard so much squeaking in your life! The chickens got soaked..the guys got soaked..and my daughter and I stood in the porch laughing till we cried! But, they did get their chickens!!! Now says, we prefer to get ours from the frozen food section. I do miss those fresh brown eggs. We got brown eggs..blue ones and pink ones too. Gosh they were good.
