The listing, Heirloom Mexican Sour Gherkin Cucumber Seeds has ended.
Seeds from my 2014 crop! Originally purchased from Seed Savers years ago.
(Melothria scabra) Newly rediscovered heirloom. Produces abundant crops (seriously abundant!) of 1-2" fruits reminiscent of tiny watermelons that fall off the vines when ripe. Sweet cucumber flavor contrasted by a surprising sourness, as if they are already pickled. Great for growing on a trellis. 60-70 days
Sow seeds outdoors in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. Can also be started indoors 2-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Benefits from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space.
I only ship within the continental USA. I will only ship to verified addresses. If you do not have a verified address please do so before the auction end. Otherwise I will relist and keep the credits per Listia rules. This is fun.. let's not ruin it folks. I'm honest and I expect you to be honest. :) Good luck!
