Description

The listing, Antique Pottery Ashtray has ended.

Wow, this is a tough one as I cannot remember who made this. McCoy possibly, anyone wish to share? It is in perfect condition and was used for the last 30 years as a catch all! The dish is small 1 3/4 "'s tall, and 3 1/4"'s wide. There is a number on the bottom and I am not sure what it is but it looks like 421. Wish you well bidding. Nice piece for your collection of pottery. Shipped in time for Christmas. This will be the last auction for me for sometime. I will be working out of town. Thanks to all who bid on my things. I am honored and very happy to have met you and be on this site. Blessings.............

Thanks, I do think it is a mccoy, or shawnie, or something of that sort as I used to know my stuff years ago as pottery is my favorite because it is from the earth. However, I am not collecting any longer and my memory is not focused on these things any longer and I have given away all of my books on the subject. So whomever gets it will have fun with it I am sure. Thanks for F&W, Blessings , Mazie

I believe you are correct. This is one of the same design for trinket dishes and ash trays. Thanks again. My memory has faded with "Antiques"!

Well does anyone remember the maker of this piece? I love pottery and have more to auction but cannot remember the creator of this piece. Help!

I am surprised this is going for such a low bid. It is such a wonderful piece for collecting pottery. There is a number on the bottom but nearly indistinguishable for my old eyes! I wonder if it is Shawnee? Happy Bidding everyone!

I think maybe this is McCoy, because some times it comes with only a number or USA I love McCoy. Some times they come with nothing at all, but you can spot a McCoy piece, most of the time. Good luck bidding.

My daughter calls this Old Womans stuff. Wait till I'm gone and she try's to sell to it and then she will find the value of my pieces.
