One more request can I get a pick of the split to judge the repairs this will need. I may have missed it but can I also get the rod tips and the weight rating for this rod

I am sorry the tip pictures did not show before, Unfortunately the damage on one of the tips does not show no matter how I take the pictures... (it would probably need to be lightly heated and completely split apart and then glued like they do when they make them) As for Weight Rating I have no clue. and can not find the info about that online. But will try and look around.

second to last picture shows the split the best I can get it. Its the left tip. But remember this comes with 2 tips, so it is still ready to go with the other one....

For thesportsman: back when they made this rod they didn't use weight ratings as they do on modern day fly rods. This particular model, like most entry level bamboo fly rods of that day, will work with about a 7 wt. line, although you can go a size in either direction from that and still be OK with it too.
