An acquaintance of mine painted this charming granny cookie jar. She has real white and yellow gold accents on her spoon and glasses. I noticed she has a fine crack on the inside of her top half. The crack isn't visible from the outside, and it appears to have been there before the piece was colored and glazed. To keep her gold parts in good shape, I suggest hand-washing Granny. She's literally been gathering dust for almost five years, waiting for a kitchen to take charge of - adopt her!
